Maitripa College currently holds over 3,000 titles in print and multi-media materials! Approximately 2,000 titles are English books, and 1,000 additional titles include videos of teachings and films, audio media for Tibetan language study, magazines and journals, as well as Tibetan, Sanskrit and Chinese works. Currently enrolled full-time students may access the library Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM during the school semester; call or email for access in summer. >Visit the Library web page for complete information and resource links.

Please find below a list of the required texts for courses offered at Maitripa College Spring 2013. Course Readers will be available for purchase in the office during the first week of the semester for students enrolled in the course. Fees charged are to offset printing costs only; please let us know if you need financial assistance.


Books required for class are available locally and/or from the publishers. Local options for book purchases include FPMT’s The Foundation Store, which supports the projects of Lama Zopa. Books are at or below publisher prices, and you can avoid shipping fees by picking up your order in the Maitripa Office (select “Wallis and Futuna” from the dropdown menu in the Country field of the Shipping Address during check out). Powell’s on SE Hawthorne and the downtown City of Books locations both have new and used copies of Buddhist books, and online orders can be held for pick up at either location.
