DISCOVERING BUDDHISM:
AN FPMT INTRODUCTORY PROGRAM

The aim of the Discovering Buddhism Program, which is offered in the Jokhang Meditation Hall, is to give participants a solid footing in the practice of Mahayana Buddhism. Participants will receive an experiential taste of the Buddha's teachings, some retreat experience, and skills they can use to make their lives most meaningful.

Discovering Buddhism, a program created by FPMT as a 14-part comprehensive introduction to Buddhist thought and practice. Students may do some or all of the components of each course, as they wish and are interested. Many people worldwide track their completion of each module and rejoice in completion of the entire series!

The Discovering Buddhism modules are offered free of charge by Maitripa. However there are administrative costs to running this program; therefore your donations are needed and welcomed.

All classes take place in the Jokhang at Maitripa: 1119 SE Market St. (at SE 11th, near Hawthorne) Portland, OR 97214.
