Mission Statement: The Maitripa College Public Events Program exists to provide programs of interest to the general public and the Maitripa College student body. Programs are tailored to educate and inform the audience in the areas of self-improvement, personal development, right livelihood, psychology, meditation, conflict resolution, contemporary scholarship and topics in Buddhist studies, and other fields in accord with these areas of study. The Public Events Program offers courses in the format of weekend workshops, short courses, continuing education, conferences, retreats and pilgrimages.
