Maitripa’s Administrative Office collects deposits, tuition, and enrollment fees received through the application process. It accepts tuition payment during Maitripa's designated registration period at the start of each semester and will send out reminders for each payment type agreed to by the student. Payment is due upon receipt of notice. Please note: tuition payments for part time students are payable in full by the first day of class with no exceptions.

All accounts should be up to date for the students to be able to attend each session and to receive final grades. A student that fails to comply with his/her financial obligations will be contacted by our Financial Office. Students not complying with financial obligations may be asked to withdraw from the program.

A student may terminate enrollment at any time by written notice of intent to Maitripa Institute by mail, hand delivery or fax to Maria Garcia at the Administrative Office.

Refund Policy

If the student cancels the enrollment contract before the semester begins, Maitripa College will refund the money owed to the student within 30 days after the notice for cancellation has been received by the school. Students will be fully refunded within 30 days if the school cancels or discontinues a course.

Fees & Refunds

Maitripa College will maintain fees and refund policies that are fair and uniformly applied to all students. Maitripa College will not change its fee policy during an academic year and will announce possible changes previous to the registration period before the start of a new academic year. Currently Maitripa College’s academic year runs from January to December.

Tuition will be charged by the credit hour for instruction during an academic semester. No student is obligated to pay for tuition charges for a term that has not commenced if the student withdrew, or for a term that was truncated by cessation of school services.

  • A non-refundable application fee of $25 must accompany each application for admission.
  • A non-refundable registration fee of $150.00 is required by Maitripa College when the student first accepts admission to the Regular Program. This amount is applicable to the student’s tuition costs.
  • Maitripa College will refund 100% of the amount paid for tuition upon written cancellation prior to the first day of instruction.
  • After instruction begins, Maitripa College will refund tuition in the following manner:

Class time elapsed

  • After classes begin for a term, any student who withdraws from a course is eligible for partial refund through the middle week of the term. Refunds shall be based on unused instructional time and shall be prorated as stated above.
